good Good Friday

As I finally sat down to journal this morning for the first time in 3 weeks, I couldn't help but write these words to God, "You were amazingly gracious to us with a beautiful pregnancy, a beautiful delivery and a wonderfully made baby girl. Truly, the labor could not have gone better - Thank you. It was a miracle for Tay, he loved it all - Thank you. I felt really well - Thank you. She's healthy - Thank you. She sleeps - Thank you. She eats - Thank you. We love her - Thank you. Over and over you have taken care of all 3 of us - Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I question why you allow it to all go so smoothly when so many across the world don't even make it. Thank you. It's all for your glory. This is Your Holy Week and I've not turned my eyes to you until this moment - yet, you love me still - Thank you."

And then, I read the latest post from Katie and began to weep. Again, Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Please take time to read this today. All Glory and Honor are Yours, forever, Amen.

  1. I JUST finished reading her blog and headed over to yours... just a deep sigh i took after reading her words. So powerful. thankful that His blood fills our "sin-holes" and we CAN be in relationship with our father through his death and resurrection. Nothing greater to celebrate :)
